Frequently asked questions

Which programming language is the Socialift SDK for?

It's an async package for Python 3.11 and newer: pip install socialift. The dashboard Playground also shows cURL and JavaScript fetch snippets for each method, but the official SDK is Python only.

Which SDK version do these docs describe?

The method lists and signatures in the reference are generated straight from the SDK source, and each page shows the version. If a method is added without documentation, the test suite fails.

Can I try methods without writing code?

Yes. In the dashboard Playground you connect an account, call any method with a real request and inspect the response. Deletions and ad-budget actions ask for confirmation.

Do I need my own developer app keys?

If you run the SDK on your own server, yes — each platform needs your own app (a Telegram bot only needs a BotFather token). When connecting through the dashboard you can add your keys under “Kalitlar” (Keys) or, where available, use Socialift's shared app.
